Dina B’s Looking Back... Wow, the wrap up of another year! The economy, job cuts, gas prices, Wall Street, new President elect, the holidays, shopping, presents, wrapping, cooking, cleaning, baking, eating parties, concerts, Dolphins making it to the playoffs, we lost some great talent like Paul Newman, Bernie Mac, Charlton Heston, Roy Scheider, Heath Ledger, another year at war, some barely standing others on pedestals like tall statues, good times, family, friends, break-ups, hook-ups, deaths, births, weddings, yes a wrap up of another year ...could anything else happen?
For the most part 2008 for me were challenging, exciting, joyous, scary, fulfilling, and memorable; though I have been with WIRK for a few years now, it wasn’t until 2008 that I received my very own radio shift! So, through the goods, the bads, the mediocre, the tears, and the smiles, including the days I wanted to rip my hair out or throw in the towel, I look back on 2008 and feel truly blessed to be here with you! A special thank you is more than worthy to all the intricate players in my life that has helped and is still helping make Dina B. stay a float in this crazy, overwhelming, yet wonderful world!!! Wasn’t the board game Life so much easier???
A big thank you to all of our devoted listeners for keeping us on all year; without which I would personally lack drive, passion, enjoyment and of course a job! :)
