Season 2 Of Redneck Island Premieres On CMT
Nov 10, 2012 -- 1:12pmThe other night, my wife, Ginny, and I were watching Survivor and, during one of the commercial breaks, we saw a promo for the season 2 premiere of a show on CMT called Redneck Island hosted by former WWE superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. In case you're unfamiliar with the show, it's basically a mash-up of the aforementioned Survivor, Lizard Lick Towing, Wipeout and Moonshiners.
The way it works is, fourteen rednecks and/or hillbilies compete in various, physically demanding games for a shot at the $100,000 grand prize. One of the grueling games in the opening episode is called "Human Corn-holing" (I'm not kidding!).
After watching the promo, Gin says, "We have GOT to watch that!"
So, tonight at 9, we'll be plopped down in front of the flat screen watching all the mindless, stupid fun on CMT. Click here for more info on Redneck Island.
