Pamela Anderson Is Against The Ice Bucket Challenge. Why? Because The ALSA Tests On Animals

Aug 22, 2014 -- 5:33am

If you've dared PAMELA ANDERSON to take the Ice Bucket Challenge, I have bad news for you:  She's not doing it.  And it's because she claims the ALS Association supports ANIMAL TESTING.

In a note on her Facebook page, below, she said, quote, "Sorry, I can't bring myself to do your Ice bucket challenge . . . I thought instead I'd challenge ALS to stop animal testing.

"Recent experiments funded by the ALS Association, mice had holes drilled into their skulls, were inflicted with crippling illnesses, and were forced to run on an inclined treadmill until they collapsed from exhaustion.

"Monkeys had chemicals injected into their brains and backs and were later killed and dissected."

Then she listed statistics that supposedly prove animal testing really doesn't work, and urged fans to, quote, "find and support charities that never harm animals and which pour their time and resources into advanced, promising, human-relevant cures."
