Taylor Swift is ON FIRE! Red, the fourth studio album from six-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift, was released worldwide just Tuesday (October 22nd), and the disc is already notching striking sales numbers and widespread critical acclaim. Red topped the all-genre Top Albums chart at iTunes within 36 minutes of release, and first day sales at iTunes alone topped 262,000 albums.

Taylor Swift will host a live classroom webcast from the Big Apple on Wednesday (October 24th), speaking with teachers and students about the power of books and reading at Scholastic.com and streamed live in thousands f classrooms nationwide. While the focus will be on literacy, Taylor is anxious to answer fans’ questions about a range of topics, including her brand new album, Red.
