Kimberly Kim Little Big Town Cooking Tv Show Tv Show   Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town Returning to TV

Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman will be returning to TV next year in a non-musical capacity.  GAC has picked up the singer's cooking show for a second season.  A launch date hasn't been announced, but "Kimberly's Simply Southern" is expected to return with new episodes in the spring.  The show began its run in September.  Episodes featured Schlapman exploring different foods and culinary customs throughout the U.S. while on tour with Little Big Town, then bringing those ideas to her kitchen to blend with her own Southern cuisine.  Kimberly says having her own cooking show was one of her childhood dreams, and she's thrilled that it's come true.  She adds that she's looking forward to "many more adventures on the road and to more fun in the kitchen with my family and friends." 

Fans who've never seen "Kimberly's Simply Southern" will get a chance to sample the show this weekend.  Two 30-minute episodes of are scheduled to air on GAC back-to-back Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. 

Miranda Lambert Project Runway  Miranda Lambert To Be A Guest Judge On "Project Runway"

Miranda Lambert will be sharing her fashion sense with the world.  The country star has been tapped to be a celebrity judge on the next season of "Project Runway."  She's one of several celebrity guest judges slated to appear on the reality show's upcoming eleventh season, along with Bette Midler, John Legend, Susan Sarandon, and Melissa and Joan Rivers.  The new season of "Project Runway" will begin on Lifetime on January 24th.  An air date for Miranda's appearance hasn't been announced yet. 

Rascal Flatts new DVD 2013  Rascal Flatts Shares Insights Into Their "All Access" DVD

Rascal Flatts is pleased with their "All Access & Uncovered" DVD.  The trio's Joe Don Rooney says that as they were working on the project they weren't sure just how they were going to release the material. 
The disc includes performance clips and interviews with Joe Don and bandmates Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus, along with videos and footage of the group both on the road and in the studio as they recorded their most recent studio album, "Changed." 

Dixie Chick Natalie Maines Included In New WM3 Documentary 

The Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines is included in "West Of Memphis," a new documentary about the wrongful murder convictions of three Arkansas teens known as the West Memphis Three.  The country singer was among the celebrities who spoke out in support of the WM3.  An editorial Maines wrote in 2007 led to the Dixie Chicks being sued by Terry Hobbs, the stepfather of one of the three young victims.  In the film, Maines denies that she ever accused Hobbs of the murders. "West Of Memphis" is in theaters now. 

Taylor Swift Tops List Of 2012's Most Charitable Stars 

Taylor Swift has more than just a chart-topping album to be proud of this year.  The singer has topped DoSomething.org's list of 2012's Most Charitable Stars.  It was a year of giving for Taylor, who jumped up twenty spots on the 2011 list.  She is being recognized for a number of her philanthropic causes, including her four-million-dollar donation to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  The 23-year-old was also the youngest person to receive the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center for her various other charitable endeavors. 

Meanwhile, Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter is the runner-up on the list.  One of Miley Cyrus' favorite causes this year was a non-profit called Saving Spot! Rescue -- a group that finds homes for shelter dogs.  Miley has been singled out by PETA as well this year for raising awareness about animal rights issues.
